About Lytham Ramblers
Lytham St Annes Rambling Club
welcomes carefree walkers!
Lytham St Annes Rambling Club is affiliated to The Ramblers and operate undertheir guidlines. We offer varied walks on the first and third Sunday of each month, all year round.
Coach transport is provided for a nominal fee and there are several pickup points from St Annes through Lytham and Warton to Kirkham & Wesham where you can join the trip.
Guests are very welcome to join the walks on up to three occasions after which they will be invited to join the Club as a full member.
Children are welcome but must be under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times. Sorry, but no dogs are allowed on the coach.
We recommend bringing a packed lunch and appropriate clothing for a day out on the fells. For more details click 'Learn More' to find out what to expect on a day out with Lytham Ramblers.
Group walking continues with the next walk:
Sunday 1st August to Coniston.
Sunday 15th August to Sedbergh.
Booking for both these walks will open on
Monday 19th July at 19:00hrs
Members booked on the trip to Hawes cannot book for Coniston until 19:00hrs on Monday 19th July.
SCOTLAND HOLIDAY 2022:
With the cancellation of this years trip, we have now made arrangements for the walking holiday in 2022.
The trip will be to OBAN and we will be staying at
The Royal Hotel.
The trip will take place from:
Sunday 13th March 2022 to Friday 18th March (5 Nights)
Members who were due to go this year will be placed on the booking list.
If any other members wish to join the trip then they should contact G-Line Holidays on:

Bookings are open as usual. Please check our
Coronavirus is still with us and infections are still increasing. Please take extra precautions to prevent spread.
We are still required wear face masks on the coach and observe public health guidleines with regard to physical distancing and hand sanitising.
It is expected that if you have any Covid symptoms or have tested positive for the virus in the last 10 days, you should NOT join any walk.

RESUMPTION OF MEALS:
We have decided to delay the resumption due to concerns about staffing and capacity at the various venues. We therefore now plan to resume on:

The Calf's Head
When booking for the Grassington Ramble and the subsequent walks, you should also let us have your meal choice.

Graded Walks for all abilities:
Usually 8 - 12 miles with up to 4,000 ft of ascent.
5 - 6 hours walking
Usually 7 - 10 miles with up to 3,000 ft of ascent.
Up to 5 hours walking

Usually 6 - 8 miles with up to 2,000 ft of ascent.
Up to 5 hours walking
Usually 4 - 6 miles with up to 1,000 ft of ascent.
3 - 4 hours walking
Bite to eat after?
We enjoy the social side of walking too, so we always enjoy a satisfying meal at a local pub after a good days walk.
Fit in a drink or two as well! No need to worry about the driving, it’s all taken care of.
