About Lytham Ramblers
Lytham St Annes Rambling Club
welcomes carefree walkers!
Lytham St Annes Rambling Club is affiliated to the Rambling Association and offers varied walks on the first and third Sunday of each month, all year round.
Coach transport is provided for a nominal fee and there are several pickup points from St Annes through Lytham and Warton to Kirkham & Wesham where you can join the trip.
Guests are very welcome to join the walks on up to three occasions after which they will be invited to join the Club as a full member.
Children are welcome but must be under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times. Sorry, but no dogs are allowed on the coach.
We recommend bringing a packed lunch and appropriate clothing for a day out on the fells. For more details click 'Learn More' to find out what to expect on a day out with Lytham Ramblers.
QUICK NEWS ITEMS:
It is with immense sadness that we have to report the passing of Frank Rushton. Frank was one of life's true gentlemen and will be missed by all who knew him.
His cheerful outlook and caring nature endeared him to everyone in the club and our walks will not be the same without him.
Our thoughts are with his family and close friends at this difficult time.
RIP Frank, hope your boots are always muddy....
It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that we are suspending our Rambles Programme until at least the end of May.
The advice from The Ramblers could not have been more clear.: All group walking should be cancelled.
We will continue to monitor the situation and as soon as conditions permit we willonce again open up for bookings.
If you want to go out for a walk as part of your recommended daily excercise then click on the advice button above for some guidance.
We have some walk reviews which might whet your appetite., check out the NEWS page to find some 'virtual rambles'.
