Lytham St Annes Rambling Club
welcomes carefree walkers!

Lytham St Annes Rambling Club is affiliated to The Ramblers and operate undertheir guidlines. We offer varied walks on the first and third Sunday of each month, all year round.

Coach transport is provided for a nominal fee and there are several pickup points from St Annes through Lytham and Warton to Kirkham & Wesham where you can join the trip.

Guests are very welcome to join the walks on up to three occasions after which they will be invited to join the Club as a full member.

Children are welcome but must be under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times. Sorry, but no dogs are allowed on the coach.

We recommend bringing a packed lunch and appropriate clothing for a day out on the fells. For more details click 'Learn More' to find out what to expect on a day out with Lytham Ramblers.
LATEST NEWS:

Group walking can be resumed but is restricted to Lancashire which is currenty in Tier 3 restrictions. Should this change we will review our plans.

We are fortunate to have enjoyed 6 or 7 walks during the summer but current restrictions mean that our published programme will be postponed until the Spring.

As soon as we have a better idea of new guidelines following the lock down, we will take a view as to how and when we might re-start.

Much will depend on the level of support from members but we hope to have some plans available early in the new year.

Individual households can still go out walking subject to public health guidelines. Please take advantage of this.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING:

This will take place on
THURSDAY 4th FEBRUARY at 19:00hrs

The meeting will take place via 'ZOOM' and we hope as many members as possible will attend. Links to join the meeting will be sent out to all subscribing members about a week before the meeting .

Reports and copies of the audited accounts will be forwarded to members 14 days prior to the meeting.

BOOKINGS:

Bookings are now suspended in line with goivermnment advice.

A revised programme for 2021 will be issued as soon as we have a way forward.

SLAIDBURN:

Our final walk this year was hugely enjoyable. The weather held good for a few hours but even the late afternoon rain didn't dampen spirits.

It was great to see some members we hadn't seen for a while and a great pity that we had to call a halt to group walks.

We hope all those who went with us on our last walk had a great day!
