With walking in groups halted due to Coronavirus, we have to be a bit more creative. Under the guidelines it is recommended that walking outdoors is a great form of excercise and helps not just fitness but general well being and mental health.
Of course we can't go out in groups but if you are able, getting outdoors for a couple of hours will do you a power of good. But how can you do this and maintain the 'social distancing' necessary to slow the spread of the virus?
We don't have full answers but a dose of common sense and a read of the guidelines issued by The Ramblers, you should be able to make an informed decision.

Walking whilst isolating?
We have had a tremendous response to our cancelled walk bulletin and have had lots of ideas and offers of help.
We will do our best to share these with the club so that we can enjoy rambling stories and images.
Below is a great idea from Ian & Annie Fleming who have produced our first 'Virtual Ramble'.
Have a look at it and maybe you could do something similar.
